Guard Bunny for the Day

So, after attending my second half day seminar on SEO and web marketing, I decided it was time to update our website and get with the program.  Part of both seminars was the importance of including a blog on your website with relevant information about your products and services.  It is pretty easy with the technology available today to create a blog.  The hard part is creating the content.

How many times can I write about the quality signs, displays, gas station remodels, and restaurant fixtures we produce every day?  (See, I am using keywords in my blog post to attract the great Google bot.)

Today’s post comes easy.  When I showed up to work today, I was greeted by a fluffy grey bunny.  He hopped up to me and followed me to the back door of my office.  As I started my morning, he just hung out on the greenbelt outside of my office, almost as a guard.

guard bunnyWe collected some fresh produce from the office fridge and gave him some water.  Janet and Herbert put their creative heads together and developed a “Lost Bunny” sign and printed some quick copies.  We posted them in front of our office and around the neighborhood.

At about 3:45 when school had let out, a lady and 2 boys came to our door inquiring about the bunny.  It had escaped from their house earlier that morning and wandered into our yard.  We returned the bunny to his family and they were grateful to us for keeping him safe.

It was one of those things that breaks up the norm and adds some excitement to an otherwise hectic day.
